Whos using the internet?
It is estimated that a staggering 13.9 million people in the UK access the internet from home. This survey conducted by the yorkshire tourist board also revealed that the south east had the highest percentage of users in the UK. In a total poll of all countries the UK sits seventh on the list lead by the USA who are followed by China. 84% of people who had internet access at home had a broadband connection. Internet access has risen a couple of percent each year due to the availability of technology and internet ready computers. Wireless internet has also played a considerable part in this trend increasing, access to the web can almost be ganed anywhere within the country nowadays.
